System Description: | The Chicago Stock Indexes System is a trading strategy applied on the most widely traded American e-mini stock-index futures markets. ? Specifically, it is applied on the following markets: e-mini SP 500 e-mini SP 400 (midcap) e-mini Russell 2000 e-mini Nasdaq 100 ? During testing: $25 per contract traded was deducted from the profits to cover for estimated commission costs. The value of one tick per contract traded was deducted from the profits to cover for estimated slippage costs, in those cases trades were entered and exited with stop orders.? The system is trading both sides (long and short) with the same logic, only difference is the parameter sets for the signal generating algorithms. ? The system logic is based on a proprietary, unique, very clever and very robust method for identifying important short- and intermediate term support- and resistance levels. ? The system is also trading each side twice with different parameter sets. That is, for each market the system is applied in four versions, two for each side, all versions with different parameter sets. ? This creates diversification directly within the system, which makes it more robust during those times the market is generally out of sync with all systems this type, while it also makes it possible to take larger profits out of the market when everything lines up perfectly. |
